Nintendo’s streaming service for the Wii U called TVii will launch tomorrow in the United States. They seem to have some high hopes for the service and according to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, “After December 20, you’ll never look at your TV the same way again.”
Whether or not that statement is true remains to be seen, but we are sure it will be quite interesting to find out. Nintendo TVii works with cable/satellite providers and streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix (Netflix will not be available right at launch, it will be out in 2013 along with TiVo support.)
The only true “breakthrough” with TVii is that they can use the Wii U’s gamepad to socially interact live when watching things, by connecting with Twitter, Facebook and other services.
