Netflix has reportedly gotten clearance from the government to include social sharing features.  This is not completely confirmed but comes after an amendment to the Video Privacy Protection Act was made Friday, allowing social sharing features on sites like Netflix.

If this ends up being true, users will be able to share information about what movies they have been watching, which was previously prevented by law.
