ZTE is the first one to actually announce that they will be releasing a phone with the much anticipated Firefox OS.  ZTE’s US Chief Cheng Lixin told Bloomberg that they are working with a European carrier to release a Mozilla Firefox phone during 2013.

As far as a release in the US goes, Lixin said that they will try and bring the phone over the Atlantic if the trip is viable.  So, basically, depending on how the phone does in Europe, it may make its way over to the US before the end of 2013.
