After acquiring Vine late last year, Twitter is finally making use of the service by adding embedded videos to Twitter.

This change was announced today by CEO Dick Costolo after he sent out a tweet with a video on Vine embedded within it.

Vine will launch sometime later this year most likely, although no release date has actually been announced.

While embedding videos from Vine which are all short loop-type videos, will not be something TONS of Twitter users are going to jump on board with, it is still a cool feature.

Even though Vine is already integrated and working with Twitter, nobody outside of Twitter/Vine can actually signup yet as they haven’t launched the service.  But, at least when Vine does launch later this year it will be working perfectly within Twitter from the start.
