Acer to Make More Affordable Tablets
Acer has just recently announced their tablet the Iconia B1-A71, a 7-inch dual-core tablet with 512mb of RAM, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Acers release at 2013 CES was a big deal seeing as though it broke the average price point for tablets with a starting price of under $150. The Greater China Head of Acer, Linxian Lang, recently informed the China Times that sometime in the near future, there will be 8- and 10-inch tablets with just as fair of a price as the B1.
The B1 is set not to release in the US, but there is still a chance with that Acer will release other tablets into the US market sometime in the near future.
