The open-sourced Android gaming console the OUYA, will begin shipping out its consoles to the backers of the Kickstarter on March 28th. Emails are being created with tracking numbers and are almost ready to be sent out to the backers. Consumers can expect to purchase their own OUYA console in June according to OUYA.
Over these next couple of months before the release, OUYA will be trying to clean up the device by getting rid of any flaws and bugs. Kim Swift, who worked on games such as Left 4 Dead and Portal, has reported that they will be releasing an adventure puzzler game this fall to help support the OUYA.
The OUYA can still be pre-ordered for $99.99 which comes with the console and a controller. An additional controller will cost $49.99.
