ST proposes a wide range of boards enabling comprehensive evaluation of ST's products and solutions. Evaluation boards help you assess the features and performance of selected products and system solutions optimized for application design. Most have published schematics, BOM and Gerber files to facilitate hardware design and, where applicable, have demonstration software packages available.

ST's programmable products are supported by a range debugging and programming tools. These include emulators and low-cost in-circuit debugger/programmers. All are supported by free integrated development environments and C-compilers. Third-party partners also provide solutions that come complete with an integrated development environment and in-circuit debugger/programmer featuring a JTAG application interface.
