Jay-Z in charge of music for NBA 2K13

Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) will be the curating the soundtrack and overseeing the music production for NBA 2K13.  Take-Two has announced that Jay-Z will be an executive producer on the game, with his primary responsibility being the 24-song soundtrack.  He will provide “artistic vision” according to Take-Two.

Jay-Z said in a statement ”I’m ready to usher in the new era of the franchise,” suggesting that he is taking the job very seriously.  The game will hit shelves in October for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, and PC but Wii U players will have to wait another month or so after the initial release.  The full song list for the game is below.
